Serve as Item Writer. The member develops test questions (items) according to test plan specifications and meticulously validates them in standard texts appropriate for the NBMTM credentialing program. Writers must also draw upon their experience and expertise to develop realistic settings and present accurate and valid information in all details of their test questions (items). Individuals selected for writing items will receive training and materials on how to write a valid and defensible test question. This committee meets remotely via webinar.
Serve as Item Reviewer. The members reviews newly written test questions (items) for the NBMTM exam. During the item review process members of the committee will assess the content of the questions, validate correctness of answers, and ensure language clarity and appropriateness of items.
Serve as Content Expert to contribute to the NBMTM website development and journal.
Serve as a Board Director. As a Board member, you will also have the opportunity to take leadership roles within the NBMTM Board structure. As a director, you may choose to run for the office of Board President, Secretary or Treasurer. You may also be selected to lead the Exam Committee or Marketing Committee. You must be board certified by the National Board of Medication Therapy Management to be considered.
