Tiffany S. Vicars, PharmD, BCGP, BCMTMS, is a member of the board of directors for the National Board of Medication Therapy Management and serves on the Certification Examination Committee and Recertification Committee.
Dr. Vicars is a 2004 graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. She completed a pharmacy practice residency in 2005 at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY. She is currently employed by Synchrony Pharmacy and has 15 years of experience in geriatrics and long-term care as a consultant pharmacist. In 2018, Dr. Vicars was recognized as Clinical Team Member of the Year. In addition to her board certifications, she holds certificates in immunizations, diabetes medication therapy management, and antimicrobial stewardship.
Dr. Vicars has always been active in the profession of pharmacy, especially Lambda Kappa Sigma Pharmacy Fraternity, and served in various positions as a national officer on Grand Council for over 10 years. While serving as Grand Vice President for Development, she chartered four new LKS chapters at colleges of pharmacy across the nation. In addition to her current committee work, she also chairs the Educational Trust.
Tiffany resides in Louisville, KY with her husband and son. In her free time, she likes to take adventures with her family, cook, travel, craft, and read. She was a contestant on Jeopardy! in 2020, fulfilling a lifelong dream.
