Dave Regier has been a Board Certified Athletic Trainer for 45 years, providing care to athletes of all levels both on the field and in professional medical clinics. He has owned and managed outpatient physical medicine and therapy clinics in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area, gaining extensive experience in the field.
During his career, Dave served as a board member on the “Board of Certification for Athletic Training” (BOC) for seven years and later transitioned to chair the nominating committee for an additional six years. This role deepened his understanding of how professional certification boards operate and their vital service to a profession.
This experience led Dave to serve for eight years on another certification board, the “Board of Certification for Accreditation,” which provides services for Prosthetists, Orthotists, Durable Medical Equipment (DME), and Mastectomy fitters. During this time, he served as secretary for two years and contributed to the finance committee for four years, gaining further experience in a distinct area of allied health professionals.
