Wasem Gawish, D.Ph., BCPS, BCMTMS, is the current Treasurer for the National Board of Medication Therapy Management. He also serves in the Certification Examination and Certification Ethics Committees.
Wasem is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) and practices hospital/clinical pharmacy at Oklahoma State University Medical Center, a teaching hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
His previous work experience includes pharmaceutical industry (GlaxoSmithKline) and community pharmacy. He is a Nationally Certified Asthma Educator from the National Asthma Educator Certification Board (NAECB), and holds several certifications including a board certification in Medication Therapy Management from the National Board of Medication Therapy Management (NBMTM).
Wasem Gawish Graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University in 2001. He is currently completing his dual MBA program with a focus in General Business/Healthcare Information Systems from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
